Passionate about maximizing individual and organizational capabilities

One of the most fulfilling things in life is learning, and then mastering, a new skill.  My most recent endeavor has been learning to surf.  I'm far from mastering any part of this difficult sport but have learned so much in the past year.  One of the things that is most invigorating is when you finally time the wave right, and feel the power shift from your own strokes and kicks, to the wave beneath you lifting and driving you forward.  This is very similar to the sensation I've experienced throughout my career when I partner with an individual, a team, or an entire organization that struggles through a new skill, or a new project, or a new system, and then is propelled to new successes.
An innovative and comprehensive human resource strategy is the wave to any successful organization.
